some non-teachery news

1. i signed up to run the p.f. changs 1/2 marathon in january. it was a whim. most people buy expensive shoes, i run 12.6 miles. the funny thing is, im not sure i could run 1/4 of a mile but hey - we all have to try [and it's an excuse to get new shoes AND new clothes!]. CHEER ME ON!

2. im an aunt. my brother FINALLY had his baby (well, he didn't .. but i'd assume you'd know that). it seemed like they were pregnant forever! im sad i can't be there, but i can brag in the meantime!
